Starfire Sports is a non-profit corporation in the Pacific Northwest which strives to empower
and inspire youth through its world-class sports training and facilities.
A fast-growing sports organization, Starfire sought to rebrand itself as the forward-thinking
leader that it was. Primarily serving families with children in the transitional times after
school, the challenge of the project was to effectively communicate its cutting-edge nature
while building trust with parents.
Working in communication with the client, I developed an extensive identity system designed
to embody and serve the people, philosophy and principles of Starfire Sports. Beginning with
the logo — a visual summation of the the brand's three over-arching values (commitment,
excellence and enjoyment) — the project extended through to applied designs and an
exhaustive brand manual.
